Remote Sighs from a Desert Island evokes the haunting feeling of being secretly watched. Objects are taken out of their original contexts to form a transcendental relationship with the audience, complete with a fill-in-the-blank "Catalogue of the Exhibition" — edited by Anne Elizabeth Moore — that details a nonexistent show. Meanwhile, Other People's Favorite Objects, a video by emerging artist Philip Von Zweck, categorizes esoteric commodities. This exhibition takes us into uncharted and possibly malevolent territory, urging us to revisit presumed realities.
