In The New Authentics, 16 Jewish-American artists examine the role of Judaism in everyday American life, exploring the ways in which faith and history color everything from sexuality to politics. In addition to their collective experiences, the artists touch upon oft-contested topics, like what it means to be "authentically Jewish" in the 21st century. Plan to stay late, because in addition to the exhibition, the newly opened Spertus Museum boasts a noteworthy glass façade and stunning views of Lake Michigan.
