Vivien Park: Head Games

Sculptor/painter Vivien Park makes an ambitious debut for her first solo show at Mini Dutch, the recently opened Logan Square apartment gallery. Park's site-specific installation, Head Spaces, lives up to its name. Upon entering the gallery, viewers are faced with dangling, three-dimensional works hanging around the gallery's main space that, upon closer inspection, turn into interactive sculptures. Everyone is invited to place their heads into the pieces and view geometric landscapes made from Mylar, cardboard, color copies, and suspension wire wrought in multiple layers.
