Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol was quite literally made for a listening audience. For his first public reading, Dickens read the classic Victorian morality tale and later revised the play based on its success as an oral narrative. Today's reading by Greg Weiss benefits the Evanston-based organization Connections for the Homeless.
