Green Zebra in West Town offers an exciting, five-course vegetarian menu for New Years' Eve. Created by Chef Shawn McClain, the upscale restaurant is named after a sweet/spicy tomato variety. With inventive options like an avocado panna cotta, a chickpea pancake, and a bourbon bread pudding with caramelized pumpkin and crème fraîche ice cream (yum!), the menu strives for a sophistication beyond the kale-and-hummus crowd. Extras include optional wine tasting and vegan selections available upon advanced request. Get the party started early — the first seatings begins at 6pm and 6:30pm, with later seatings at 9 and 9:30pm.
