For Chicago dwellers wanting to get out of the house on New Year's Eve while avoiding the crazy razzmatazz of watching the ball drop, a place on Lincoln Avenue calls your name. Of course, you won't be able to actually hear Delilah's calling, since loud music is the bar's specialty. Mondays are reserved for punk music, and New Year's Eve is no different. For those looking to skip the champagne, Delilah's has an outstanding selection of whiskey, or you can go straight for the dollar domestic beers. So put on your best black t-shirt, and ring in 2008 with a sneer and a snog.
