After a decade of correspondence with iconoclastic, Paris-based artist Bruno Richard, Marc Fischer has accumulated over 60 pounds of the underground artist's drawings, collages, writings, photocopy art, and unpublished dirty books. Echoing last year's well-received Exalted Trash exhibition, this one-day-only event allows visitors to personally sift through the prolific "Elles Sont de Sortie" creator's shipments and packages. In this free-form, disordered context, Richard's lot of ephemera and detritus — including grotesquely-imagined illustrations, crudely drawn, taboo-probing comic strips, and scraps of sexually-charged photographs — allow intrepid excavators to directly experience the obsessions and fantasies of a wildly creative, and possibly deranged, mind.
