Canadian artist Rachel Beach crafts wood sculptures that radiate a bewitching energy. Wall-mounted, the pieces resemble paintings with their accents of colorful veneer and oil paint. Her piece London Bridge is a disorienting array of odd angles, while Evergreen has the graceful presence of a musical note. She draws from the legacies of minimalist sculpture and optical art, but adds her own signature fluidity and elegance. Lisa Caccioppoli's new abstract paintings — bright collisions of geometric shapes — are also on view in the Kasia Kay project space.
