Film American Zombie (2007)

It's time to get meta. Grace Lee tries her hand at a mockumentary this time 'round, poking fun at the pretensions of documentary filmmaking with a cinéma vérité-style "investigation" of Los Angeles zombies (themselves a satire of marginalized urban communities). Lee and collaborator John Solomon follow four people infected by the virus and divided on the issues. It's all very PC — some zombies insist on the proper nomenclature "revenants" and stage rallies to encourage zombie-awareness, albeit remaining apprehensive about their taboo, people-eating habits.
