More Flavor: Food/Wine Mojitos 101

The US embargo on Cuba might have been around since the early '60s, but that hasn't stopped the finer points of Cuban cuisine from sneaking across the border. Enter the mojito — a fine concoction of rum, sugarcane juice, lime, carbonated water, and mint. The blend might very well be the perfect cocktail, all sweet and sour and rummy. Carnivale agrees and sets out to educate budding bartenders on its signature drink. Mixologist Victor Baheza walks participants through the history of the drink and, more importantly, the creation of both the classic and raspberry mojito.
