Film: Documentary The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007)

In The King of Kong, director Seth Gordon finds two subjects so perfect, they couldn't have been better created by screenwriters. On one side of the ring is the plucky Steve Wiebe, a middle-school science teacher who found refuge in video games while unemployed; opposing him is Billy Mitchell, the weaselly owner of a hot-sauce empire. In 2003, Wiebe broke the record Mitchell had set in the '80s on classic arcade game Donkey Kong. Wiebe's 1,000,000 point score brought him instant game-world celebrity and "Get a load of this!" media coverage. Not to be outdone, Mitchell aims to make a comeback, challenging Wiebe for the Guinness World Records title.
