In the past, most folks would identify Dianogah with bassist/illustrator Jay Ryan's distinctive, cute/sinister drawings. Over the last decade, though, the band's local renown has eclipsed the work of its individual members. While it may be difficult to believe that a bare-bones, three-piece (two bass!) instrumental band could produce a wide variety of sound, Dianogah have found a way to continually innovate, upping the ante with every show and release. Joining forces with Andrew Bird, vocalist Stephanie Morris, and Mark Greenberg from the Coctails, Dianogah are now hard at work on their latest full-length effort, hailed by the band as their favorite.
