Music: Rock/Pop Plane w/ Welcome to Ashley, Sunday Morning Chameleon, and the Saturday Nights

Hometown new-wave rockers Plane were founded by guitarist/vocalist Edgars Legzdins, who recorded the critically lauded album I See Love in the Future as a duo with Edward Anderson. The band has since evolved into a six-piece, featuring new members Jackie and Gary Stier on vocals and Moog, plus Farfisa organ courtesy of Ryan Weston. Plane's sound bears the unmistakable dark-synth influence of Joy Division and New Order, but their newest tunes are moving in a direction all their own, mixing haunting guitar and vocals with driving pop beats and subtle sonic fuzz-outs.
