Music: Rock/Pop White/Light w/ Teith and Head of Skulls!

Chicago drone duo Matt Clark and Jeremy Lemos (aka White/Light) create and disrupt states of mind with gamut-running guitar sounds. Just as the pulsing, minimal hums lull you into a narcotic bliss, Clark and Lemos suddenly start hurling piercing shards of distorto-skree. If you can follow the lead, however, all that dissonant agitation begins to feel comforting in its own strange way. Other noise bands have explored the dramatic juxtaposition of high/low power, but few have done it so invitingly.
