Turning your artistic influences into zombies is either a Halloween-flavored Oepidal dream or a curiously macabre motion for their immortality. In either case, that's the puckish idea behind this grisly group exhibition, which unite artists who zombify in media ranging from painting and illustration to plush sculpture. For her contribution, Kerry Flaherty — the show's organizer and CAD resident artist — brings the beloved Jim Henson back from the grave, while other participants dig up figures like Franz Kafka and animator Preston Blair. After the zombies have had their moment, the show closes with a party on October 31.
