Comics have always drawn on their family life for material, but jokes about wifey and the kids can get old quick (think Ray Romano's safe, tired shtick). The reliably awesome Louis CK keeps things fresh with shockingly indecorous depictions of his "retarded and inconsiderate" four-year-old daughter. With killer riffs on the poor child's unwillingness to play hide-and-seek properly ("She sucks ... it's bullshit"), incessant asking of "Why?" and refusal to put on her shoes ("She's a jerk"), CK's wholly unimpressed attitude towards kiddies — and his curmudgeonly insistence on treating children as pint-sized adults — is delightfully irreverent and unendingly hilarious. Tonight, the antiparenting funnyman returns to Chicago for his Hilarious tour.
