For years, the photographic collection of Chicago's LaSalle Bank has been one of the small number of corporate art collections to rival museums. (Lucky for us, it survived the company's acquisition by Bank of America in 2007, an unlikely fate.) This exhibition at the Cultural Center includes 150 works — ranging from 1930 to the present — emphasizing local connections and tracing Chicago's photographic history. The city has been home to modern masters like Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind, but, as the collection demonstrates, subsequent generations of Chicagraphers have shown notable gifts as well.
