Tina Fey's got the Palin angle covered, but there's plenty more gold to mine from the ongoing race for the White House. Tonight, two of Chicago's leading independent comedy troupes, Schadenfreude and GayCo, present a night of standup, sketch comedy, music, and magic, sending up the national political scene. In dire times such as these, when agita and angst define the national mood, there's something cathartic about choosing to chuckle instead. The bluntness of this show's title is typical of GayCo and Schadenfreude — they get big laughs by playing hard and taking no prisoners.
