Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher have been hoarding found videos for more than 15 years: abandoned home movies, bizarre corporate-training tapes, sweet dance routines, and other ridiculous recordings. Eventually, they decided to share the stockpile and organized a festival, becoming proud impresarios of hysterical secondhand embarrassments. You'd be hard-pressed to make some of this stuff up — the found footage draws on the endless riches of human inanity and handily affirms that our society's follies can match the comic inventions of our best creative minds (if only inadvertently). The creators host each screening on the tour, contributing Mystery Science Theater-style commentary.
