What do you do after winning Time Out's "Funniest Person in Chicago" contest? You leave, of course. That's what standup comedian Hannibal Buress did, decamping to New York City this year to climb the next rung up the showbiz ladder. Tonight, the talented young comic is back in his hometown as his career starts to catch fire. He impressed TV scouts with a solid turn at Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival, earning gigs on CBS' "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham." Next up, Buress tackles a featured role in the buzzed-about new standup film The Awkward Kings of Comedy.
