One of many bands causing a musical renaissance in Raleigh, NC, the Rosebuds might be the most eclectic of the bunch. The band's most recent release, Life Like, could be its most diverse effort to date. While the album's title track plays like traditional indie rock, "Cape Fear" offers a few splashes of synth pop, and the multi-part harmonies and folksy acoustics of "Nice Fox" evoke former tourmates the Bowerbirds. Tonight, the Rosebuds take their stage show to the Bottom Lounge with neighbors Megafaun.
