Few are the bands that can appease both the indie elitists and the electronic-music junkies. Part disco, part indie rock, Louisville, Kentucky's VHS or Beta land somewhere between Daft Punk and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Although their most recent album, Bring on the Comets, is heavy on hooks and pop cliches, it still caught the attention of DJ duo LA Riots long enough to garner a pretty excellent remix.
