All of the original Muppet movies are exemplars of awesomeness, but Jim Henson's second effort, The Great Muppet Caper, was allegedly his favorite. It's hard to argue. Kermit, Gonzo, and Fozzie Bear are reporters who hop the pond to cover a jewel heist in London; when Miss Piggy is framed for the crime, the intrepid trio and their friends at the Happiness Hotel set out to stop the culprits and clear the name of our favorite porcine prima donna. The film has its share of timeless gags, but it also ups the ante as Muppets break the fourth wall and show off their karate chops.
