It's finally over. A seemingly endless campaign of tired catchphrases, empty slogans, constant vituperation, never-ending polls, dirty tricks, and negative attacks has finally, at long last, whimpered to an end. Tonight, breathe a collective sigh of relief — while drowning your sorrows or celebrating triumphant victory — as Life During Wartime DJs Bald Eagle and Mother Hubbard, DJ A-Cup and Rehab's DJ Derek Berry spin us into a new political epoch. Dance away the Bush era with fellow voters as live election returns play on the big screen and local volunteer organizations try to translate that collegial post-election daze into donations and community-service pledges.
