Feeling guilty about the fur-lined gloves, vintage mink stole, or old chinchilla coat hanging in your closet? Fret not, all will be fur-given with the Humane Society's Coats for Cubs program. This nonprofit venture collects donations of fur coats and other animal apparel, in any condition. The garments are sent to wildlife rehabilitators, who use them to warm, cuddle, and comfort orphaned, sick, or injured wild animals. Now through Earth Day (April 22), concerned animal lovers can clear their consciences — and turn animal cruelty into animal compassion — by dropping off fur items at any Buffalo Exchange location.
