Tonight, Camp Midnight celebrates New Year's Eve with a truly inspired screening of campy disaster classic, The Poseidon Adventure. The 1972 blockbuster film takes place on a luxurious ocean liner flipped over by a tidal wave (on New Year's Eve, natch) and tells the terrifying tale of a handful of survivors who attempt to escape the capsized ship before it sinks. Naturally, event organizers have timed the film so that audience members and fictional cruise passengers ring in the New Year at the exact same time.
