During the 24 hours of comedy and music at Second City's seventh-annual benefit to provide holiday gifts for needy kids, something's sure to strike your fancy. Catch the nation's most consistently excellent long-form improv show, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre's ASSSSCAT, with support from Second City comedians. Musical guests include the Breeders, Robbie Fulks, Nina Nastasia, Babyco, and Tullymonster; Wilco's Jeff Tweedy will present a special solo performance Wednesday at 9pm. With raffle prizes, auction items, surprise guests, and a deserving cause, we can't imagine a more worthwhile exercise in sleep deprivation.
