Feb 22 – Aug 29
Fridays (noon–1:30pm)
This bring-your-own-lunch gathering of handicrafters is held in honor of artist, educator, and social activist Ellen Gates Starr, who historically co-founded the progressive community Hull House with her college friend Jane Addams in 1889. Crafty artists — sewers, knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, and weavers — of all skill levels are welcome to drop in each Friday to exchange advice, talk politics, or just share in the simple, gratifying process of making stuff.
