The ninth installment of the Irish Film Festival showcases over two dozen shamrock-laden features, short films, and documentaries throughout its six-day run. Highlights include the US premiere of Garage, the tale of an isolated, middle-aged bloke and his summertime quest for companionship; the short Buskers, in which two beggar children at the Dublin train station wage a battle of wills; After '68, which portrays a teenager's inner conflict during Northern Ireland's civil-rights movement; and Useless Dog, about a bumbling, beloved family pet.
