Celebrate the Lunar New Year and kick off the upcoming Year of the Rat with traditional dim sum treats. Literally translated, dim sum means "touch the heart" or "order to your heart's content" — easy to do with a spread of light, small-plate dishes meant to be enjoyed alongside a steaming pot of tea. Instructor Kim Patterson demonstrates how to replicate these sweet and savory bites at home, including shumai (dumplings filled with pork or seafood), sticky five-spice spareribs with teriyaki glaze, and fluffy, steamed BBQ-pork buns.
