- Osso Bucco
Osso Bucco is the story of a lovable mobster trying to enjoy his favorite meal one last time before leaving town. As he wrestles with his shyness around a cute waitress, a couple of detectives show up, spoiling his trip. The film was shot in Chicago, stars a cast and crew of local talent, and was directed by Mike Star (who made a little movie called Goodfellas). It kicks off the 2008 leg of the Midwest Independent Film Festival, which offers audiences a chance to see regionally produced films on the first Tuesday of every month.
