Despite their recent ubiquity (thanks a lot, New York Times), Justice show no signs of compromise. Treating first-wave French filter house like a much-loved and abused pair of sneakers, the Gallic duo has taken Daft Punk's mantra "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" as a musical imperative: beats stutter, bass lines threaten to disembowel speakers, and everything in the mid-to-high end sounds as if it's caught in a congested vacuum cleaner. But, boy, is it danceable. Seeing a techno act hasn't been this much like going to a heavy-metal concert since "Firestarter"-era Prodigy.
