"A film festival without cameras?" you say, "But that's impossible!" In fact, over the years, a handful of avant-garde directors and artists have invented clever new ways of making their pictures move, by using good ol' hands-on manipulation of virgin film. Tonight's program includes some of the best camera-less movies from the beginning of the 20th century up through the '90s.
