Larry, Curly, and Moe team up with Hercules to rescue a damsel in distress, and then jump into a spaceship to fight Martians. What more can you ask for? During the late '50s and early '60s, adolescent baby boomers spearheaded a Three Stooges comeback; the re-formed trio responded with a number of absurdly plotted slapstick vehicles, including the kid-friendly Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961), as well as tonight's double feature. For the trivia buffs: Hercules' cast includes Quinn Redeker, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of The Deer Hunter, and Samson Burke (as Hercules) who later worked as Tom Selleck's stunt double.
