Whereas the sketch comedians of Schadenfreude were once a cult sensation, these days they're operating squarely above-ground. Turns out it's hard to call yourself "underground" when you've played both Lollapalooza and the Steppenwolf Theatre, produced your own NPR show, headlined the Chicago Improv Festival, and penned a hot movie script that's currently making the Hollywood rounds. To celebrate the troupe's tenth anniversary, Schadenfreude returns to its indie roots, playing a different tavern in a different neighborhood for six straight Saturday nights, with special guests varying each week.
