Art: Fair Goffo at NEXT: The Invitational Exhibition of Emerging Art

Does the mega-conglomerate of art fairs that is Artropolis seem a bit overwhelming? We'd say so. Not that you shouldn't check out the all-star dealers at Art Chicago, the visionary surprises at Intuit, or the high-end design of yesteryear at the International Antiques Fair. But if there's one event we're not missing, it's cutting-edge contemporary fair NEXT and its show-within-a-show, Goffo. It's an expo of the best of the Midwest's small presses, galleries, and artist collectives, including indie publisher Featherproof Books, gallery/clothing brand Imperfect Articles, St. Louis-based printmaking studio Pele Prints, and curator Britton Bertran's new post-Gallery 40000 project.
