Late Second City teacher and ImprovOlympic co-founder Del Close taught the art of improvisation to a who's-who of comedy, including John Belushi, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Stephen Colbert, Chris Farley, Tina Fey, Brian Stack, and Amy Poehler. He also designed light shows for the Grateful Dead, toured with the Merry Pranksters, and performed the occasional séance. To promote the new biography The Funniest One in the Room, Close's longtime collaborators present this free discussion of his legendary Second City tenure in the '60s and '70s. Panelists include Tim Kazurinsky, Joyce Sloane, Michael Gellman, Andrew Alexander, and the book's author, Kim "Howard" Johnson.
