More Flavor: City Gem The Free Store

The Free Store is a roving first-come, first-serve collection of shoes, books, music, sports equipment — anything and everything that's free for the taking. This weekend's event takes place at the Pullman State Historic Site on the far South Side. It's a great opportunity to play tourist in your hometown. So come shed a few items that you'd like to pass on, grab some new things, and donate grillables to the friendly potluck BBQ with Free Store organizers and local artists Salem Collo-Julin, Melinda Fries, Zena Sakowski, and Rob Kelly.
