More Flavor: Spectacle The Talent Show

The Talent Show is, as you might expect, an eclectic, old-fashioned variety show in which the audience votes for its favorite act. Twelve contestants have submitted their audio/video "audition tapes" online, and the acts with the most comments on Vocalo's blog perform tonight. Highlights include all-girl go-go dance troupe the Revelettes, Magic Superstars (a tounge-in-cheek act with magician/escape artist Eddie Edge and his assistant Magic Madge), hip-hop artist Ace Boogie, and stand-up comedian Dan Telfer of Chicago Underground Comedy. The event is sponsored in part by The Onion, and hosted by the staff of online radio station Vocalo.org, a website that fuses content sharing, social networking, and streaming broadcast.
