Spinning cheery synth lines and reverb-soaked guitars into indie-pop gold, Sub Pop duo Helio Sequence do a lot with a little. Mixing frontman Brandon Summers' vocals and Benjamin Weikel's simple keyboards and capable drumming, the outfit's effervescent fourth album, Keep Your Eyes Ahead, is a collection of lush, Shins-ian tunes that forgo the yelping, ambient soundscapes of their earlier work in favor of dreamy, folksy balladry. Tonight, the Portland-based pair hits the Bottle with locals Bronze and Yourself and the Air — who open with "Elliott Smith meets Lionel Richie" avant-soul and mathy, Braid-esque indie rock, respectively.
