Jason Lazarus and Brian Ulrich take an irreverent glimpse behind the scenes of the art market with About Art, their photographic exhibition at City Gallery in the Historic Water Tower. The photos were commissioned by the Wright Auction House, which gave the artists access to artworks before the objects hit the auction block. Lazarus and Ulrich's photographs provide a refreshingly matter-of-fact and amusing interpretation of the acquisitive fervor that sometimes consumes the commercial art world. About Art is part of a series that has included projects by Zoe Crosher and Amir Zaki.
