Julie Nakagawa's keen eye for talent and brilliant coaching skills produce mature dance from her ambitious, young sextet. A casual, exciting start to the weekend, her in-studio previews give audiences an up-close peek at works-in-progress. This afternoon, the company performs Etude by Parsons Dance Company alum Robert Battle (more of his choreography is on the way in coming months), and discussions with the dancers follow.
