Social Distortion frontman and punk-rock vet Mike Ness brings his newly swamp-rocking sound and copious tattoos to town for a solo set. Ness formed Social Distortion — a landmark punk band, not to mention a staple of skate videos — in Orange County in the late '70s, and he's had his share of side projects since then, including rock outfit the Band Easter and a solo album in '99. Through all that, Ness' hammering style and gravel-throated bark have remained as vicious as they were 30 years ago, and his songs are pure, American punk-rock anthems.
