Emmy-winning graphic artist Gary Panter — designer for Pee-Wee's Playhouse and album-cover artist for Frank Zappa and the Red Hot Chili Peppers — just released an eponymous book, the definitive compendium of his work. Tonight, Panter is in conversation with comic artist/designer Chris Ware, author of the game-changing graphic novel Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth. They're joined by PictureBox Inc.'s Director Dan Nadel to reveal the tricks of their trades and discuss their diverse artistic practices. A book signing follows.
