Mother's Day is just around the corner — sadly, the days are long gone when a yarn necklace or elbow-macaroni picture frame would melt Mom's heart. Today's craft fair, however, keeps the spirit of those DIY efforts from yesteryear, but classes up the gift possibilities a notch. Collecting eight local vendors under one roof (handmade-bag boutique Zola Jones), this independent shopping bazaar features everything from vintage-style aprons and hand-knit doggy sweaters to one-of-a-kind purses and even sushi sets. Of course, Mom still loves it best when you make her something yourself, but these handcrafted wares will do in a pinch.
