Music: Rock/Pop Indian Jewelry w/ Warhammer 48k

Like a lot of bands, Indian Jewelry are faithful to the fuzz-rock holy trinity of the VU, the Jesus and Mary Chain, and My Bloody Valentine. The raga drones and cosmic shoegaze on their upcoming Free Gold! clearly bear the stamp of all three. They may hang their headdresses in Texas, but 2006's Invasive Exotics looks far west to the San Francisco art-damage of Chrome, and back across the water to the electro-menace of post-punk icons like Cabaret Voltaire. Maybe it's due to their revolving carousel of co-conspirators, but Indian Jewelry throw a lot more flavor into their psych-stew than you're probably expecting.
