The future seemed rosy for the Narrator: their new(ish) drummer was finally broken in and their sophomore album, All That to the Wall, garnered rave reviews last year, but the local indie faves have sadly decided to throw in the towel. Although no official reasons have been given for the dissolution, their newly recorded "So the End" might offer clues. Tonight, at their final Chicago show, locals Joan of Arc, Tight Phantomz, and the Mannequin Men DJs help the band go not-so-quietly into that good night. Bring some Kleenex and expect an epic version of the band's favorite show closer, their cover of Bob Dylan's "All the Tired Horses."
