Lady singer/songwriters reign supreme on the Amoeba Tour, a 17-date showcase that crisscrosses the country until June. (The beloved Cali record-store chain recently launched a label, as well.) Headliner Kate Walsh hails from England and crafts the delicate, Joni Mitchell-esque ditties that made last year's album Tim's House one of KCRW's brightest gems. She's joined by Amoeba Records' own Brandi Shearer, a singer/songwriter with a lush, husky voice who was spotlighted by VH1 after her Close to Dark album hit shelves last year. Indie-acoustic artist Quincy Coleman opens.
