Music: Rock/Pop Firewater w/ La Scala and Post Honeymoon

After the disintegration of his industrial group Cop Shoot Cop in 1996, singer Tod A. started Firewater, an outfit that has, at one time or other, boasted ex-members of bands including Soul Coughing and the Jesus Lizard. Defying labels, the group's sound remains a punchy, sardonic mix of sufi songs, klezmer wedding anthems, and stompy punk. Firewater return after a three-year hiatus with new album The Golden Hour, which chronicles Tod A.'s travels through Pakistan, Israel, and parts of Southeast Asia.
