It's easy to forget that art star and auction darling Jeff Koons made his name as a provocateur. His Made in Heaven series includes photographs of the artist copulating with his porn-star (now ex-)wife, and Koons' sculptures and paintings continue to revel in kitsch. The MCA presents his first major museum survey in 15 years, for which Koons himself was asked to select "his most iconic works from the 1980s to the present." The show marks a return of sorts; Koons spent his formative years in Chicago in the 1970s, and the MCA hosted his first American survey in 1988.
